The evaluations of the wines tasted at Nebbiolo Prima 2022 have come out and our Barbaresco Quarantadue42 2019 scored 93 points.
During the Nebbiolo Prima 2022 event, where the new vintages of the 3 appellations Barolo, Barbaresco and Roero can be tasted in preview, 351 wines were presented in just 4 days of tasting, of which 70 Barbaresco 2019 and 11 Barbaresco Riserva.
In the Barbaresco appellation, many wines with personality and character from many illustrious wineries, including our own, stand out.
Our Barbaresco Quarantadue42 in fact scored 93 and was described as “Open and decidedly precise in its sensory profile, showing notes of raspberries, currants, wild strawberries and mixed red and white flowers. Full-bodied, soft tannins of excellent quality and an agile, progressive finish”.
